Greetings from the land of the progressives. This is the Adirondack Howler for Wednesday, October 6th, 2010.

There are 27 days remaining until Election Day 2010. Today I am happy to have a new look blog. I sincerely apologize for my absence over the last couple of weeks. Due to difficulties with technology, I have been unable to post.

This evening, I bring back the video of the week with a segment from MSNBC's The Dylan Ratigan Show. In this clip, Cenk Uygur, the host of the Internet series The Young Turks, calls out Tea Pary candidates for their acceptance of government handouts while railing against government programs.

Later in the week, I will resume my regular posts on my blog.

That is all I need to say for now. This is the Adirondack Howler signing off on the 258th day after the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Citizens United which opened waterfalls of money from the nation's corporations, attempting to buy off our nation's democracy.
