Halloween Is Coming

Greetings from the land of progressives. This is the Adirondack Howler with a short brief.

Halloween is just two days from today. Parents will be accompanying their children in costume, going around to their neighbors and uttering the famous words "Trick or Treat". I have a message for adults: Before your children fill their bags full of Halloween candy, especially chocolate, I ask that you read this piece from Andrew Korfhage in today's CommonDreams.org.
